This restaurant and Krishna Temple can be both really attractive for tourists. Wanley Restaurant is recommended to Chinese cuisine lovers. To taste perfectly cooked garlic prawns, chilli prawns and chinese chicken is a really good idea.
This place provides food delivery for the convenience of its customers. The staff is terrific that's what makes this spot so nice. People say that the service is spectacular here. People who have lived and worked in Kolkata would always miss the delectable and quintessential Tangra Chinese (Indo-Chinese) cuisine after leaving the City of Joy. While there are many Chinese restaurants in Bengaluru, I would always search for that one Chinese restaurant in Bengaluru that serves proper Kolkata Chinese food. Eventually, I found out about ‘Wanley Restaurant,’ tucked in a corner at Indira Nagar. With a humble old-world appearance and a typically identifiable Kolkata vibe, this restaurant has been there for quite some time now. My partner and I visited the restaurant on December 1, 2025 (Monday). We opted for a few safe options. We ordered one (1) bowl of Burnt Garlic Soup divided in two portions, one (1) plate of Dragon Prawn, one (1) plate of Prawn Chicken Noodles, and one (1) plate of Chicken Chinese Chop Suey. All the items were extremely tasty while not being overtly spicy. Particularly, both of us loved the taste of Dragon Prawn. The service was fast enough despite the restaurant being decently busy for a weekday. The behaviour of the people serving us was also good. We shall definitely be visiting this restaurant again.
