Trippy Goat Café. A name that promises adventure. A name that whispers of whimsy, of culinary boldness, of well, something. What we got? A front-row seat to the best things about the place: location, parking, and an open-door policy for furry friends. Absolutely brilliant. The food? Oh, friend, the food. If there were an international championship for the most aggressively average meal, Trippy Goat would be in the finals. Not bad. Not good. Just there. Existing. Like a screensaver of a meal. Now, let’s talk service. In the 75-odd minutes we spent there, a grand total of three different servers took our orders. Three. A relay race of confusion. A tag team of forgetfulness. One took our order. Another came by looking perplexed. A third arrived, confident but incorrect. Chaos! Needless to say, what landed on the table bore only a passing resemblance to what we actually asked for. Like a bad game of telephone, but with fries. Would I return? If I had a dog, maybe. If I needed a parking spot, sure. If I were hungry and looking for an experience that was both forgettable and frustrating? Pass!!!
