Top quality food options with a menu that changes every day, offering a choice of 6 veg or non veg that rotate every day. Unlimited portion sizes are offered and we really enjoyed all the dishes. The fish fry and mutton biriyabi were my favourites. The price point is a bit steep at INR 2.5k per person, would've liked it to be slightly lower.otherwise really comfortable place to have a relaxed lunch. Alcohol can be ordered separately from the menu from the neighbouring bar. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: ₹2,000+ Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Valet

During a recent family dinner at Sangamithirai - Native Thamizh Cuisine, located within the premises of Feathers Hotel, our experience was a rollercoaster of culinary highs and lows. The restaurant, which prides itself on offering Native Tamil Cuisine, presented a varied menu that promised an exploration of authentic regional flavors. However, the reality of our dining experience did not fully align with these expectations. The quality of the food was inconsistent; while some dishes were delightfully tasty and seemed to pay homage to the rich culinary heritage of Tamil Nadu, others were underwhelming and did not hit the mark. This inconsistency was a bit of a letdown, especially when considering the high expectations set by the restaurant's premise. Price-wise, the meal felt unjustifiably expensive. The cost of dining at Sangamithirai was steep, and when evaluating the overall dining experience—including the food quality and portion sizes—it was difficult to find a rationale for such pricing. The quantity of food served did not seem to correlate with the high prices charged, leaving us questioning the value for money. Service was another area that left room for improvement. Despite repeated requests for an after-meal mouth freshener—a standard offering in many Indian restaurants—it was never provided. This oversight added to our disappointment, overshadowing the aspects of the meal we enjoyed. Leaving Sangamithirai, the sentiment was one of dissatisfaction. The potential for a truly memorable dining experience was evident, but the lack of consistency in food quality, the high prices without clear justification, and the gaps in service culminated in a disheartening experience. It is my hope that Sangamithirai will address these issues, aligning their offerings more closely with the expectations of their guests. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
