We have recently visited Mustard restobar, a 3 star hotel that is located in the first floor of Hotel Pharos.
The cozy ambiance is the charm to the hotel, well done with the outdoor seating.
The service was the Cherry on Top , the hospitality of the staffs were extremely nice and great recommendations on choosing the food.
To start with we ordered a absolute small Vodka which was around 410/- (including taxes)
To pair it with the vodka we went with a herbal soda were the price was around 120 (which we won’t recommend)
Since the soda was not a great choice for the vodka we had to switch to sprite which costed 120/- for a tin (which is obviously overpriced)
Then we ordered a summer smoothie which costed us about 270/- I would say is worth it!
For hors d'oeuvre we asked for a honey mustard saut since there was no availability we had to switch to barbecue chicken wings priced around 510/- for 4 wings, which is to die for. Absolute taste of deliciousness, worths every penny!
To the main course we chose pasta but the staff recommended us to try their best Bengali dish, Railway mutton Curry which was around 720/- , the bowl had 4 tenderly cut mutton pieces with a hard boiled egg, and a boiled potato , to pair it up we ordered a plate of Luchi which is a deep-fried flatbread, made of Maida flour priced at 150/- with 4 breads, the juicy meat with the spicy curry with the bread was heavenly for meat lovers. I would say it’s a must try .
And to wrap it up, we ordered a chocolate ganache cake for dessert which was priced at 360/- decadent, moist, heavenly *chef’s kiss*
Cons:
The music is so damn loud that we could barely hear the staffs.
May be the quantity could have been a little higher.
Overall,
Ambience : 5/5
Food: 5/5
Price: 4/5 (lil on higher side of the budget)
Hospitality: 5/5
