Good selection of food , mind blowing taste and a cheerful service staff is what made me give a 5 star rating .
We come in at 8.30, the restaurant looks great but is tiny. There is a live band and the evening looks promising.
We order drinks and food. The bar is 10 feet away from our table and the staff is just milling about. Takes 25 minutes for the drinks to arrive and 45 minutes for the mezze platter to arrive. We keep asking for the server, nobody wants to attend to us.
Finally they tell us food took time because it was coming from Casbah. Its in the same hotel, not in actual Mediterranean, but that's their explanation and what can you do about it?
The platter is a joke by the way. 4 dips and 2 types of small pita breads.
Finally we pay the bill and leave.
The next day we realize around 5 pm that the card we paid them with was never returned to us. We call Westin and the lamest of explanations given to us was, we were just about to call you. yeah, they were so busy that they could not call us in 20 odd hours since discovering our card was there.
So if Zomato had allowed negative rating, I would have given that.
Fair warning-stay away from this sham of a hotel.
