Kangan at The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace is a lovely place for a special North Indian meal. The biryani was good, with nice aroma and flavours, and both the veg and non‑veg starters were tasty and well presented. Staff were very, very helpful throughout the evening; right from explaining the menu to checking on us regularly, which made the whole experience feel warm and comfortable. One of the highlights was watching them make actual kangans in the evening, which adds a unique touch and fits perfectly with the theme of the restaurant. On the flip side, the paan based drink was really bad and is something that can easily be skipped. Pricing is definitely on the higher side, but that is understandable since it is inside a star hotel and you are also paying for the ambience and service. Overall, it is a very good place to visit if you are looking for quality food and a refined dining experience. I took the course menu called “Kenyan ki jhanak” at 2450 rp per person. The food was good but the portion was just too much! There was an Indian live music play as well. Anisha was our waitress tonight and she was very attentive and polite. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
