Visited Itc sonar bangla, Grand Market Pavallion restaurant with my husband. I had high expectations from one the most renowned group of hotels in India but i was astonishingly disappointed. Despite the lobby being breathtakingly luxurious, the buffet restaurant was in disarray. There is an acute shortage of staff and directions for guests. Our table was hardly ever serviced rather we repeatedly requested for clearing the used cutlery. Food is below average, cannot even compete with common roadside kolkata restaurants. My husband is an avid biriyani lover but he was highly discontended by the unsavory tastes served by the brilliant chefs of Itc..... Overall disheartened, would not visit again. An evening worth spending. We visited the Grand Market Pavilion and it had a really good selection of dinner buffet. The ambience, the friendly and cordial staff, and the spectacular aesthetics of the ambience just added in to the sensory delight! Finally I visited this place. Very nice atmosphere ,good service , staffs service were too good But the most important thing the food is to bad
too explain. As a vegetarian I can't eat anything. I'm paying a much money than I'm eating. I tried palang panner it's worse than imagine. They should really look into their cooking service. Food quality is to bad. It's very hard to pay 2000 only for some papri chat and doibora! & yes a lots of dessert is there but you can't eat only misty for lunch.
