There are 4 options of Thalis - had ordered the 1st and 3rd option for my family, sorting the menus from the low cost option.
Please note, we are a Bengali vegetarian family and have tasted vegetarian menus (even with no onion no garlic) across top restaurants.
Forget comparing with other restaurants, I should have rather celebrated this special day with home cooked food, rather than wasting my time and appetite overhere.
It seemed the chef knows only to use curd/dahi in most of the foods and all seemed to taste same and blant.
Even for the deserts, only 2 items were provided - in the rasmalai, you won't be able to find the solid part of it (since its so small) and the halwa was little better, but not that much as that of other places.
The only seemed decent, was butter naan. However, the bread options are also limited.
Food taste is an individual preference and you may like the food. But, I guarantee, you will get much better vegetarian food (even with no onion no garlic items) in multiple places at Kolkata.
Again, pls note, my review is solely based on food taste and nothing else - but, if you do not get food with decent taste, it will spoil your special day, for sure.
