Such a lovely place to stay! It is sound-rounded by trees, it has an amazing pool and a great rooftop from where you can actually see the sea! There are many yoga mats available for your self practice and the yoga class from the retreat was really good. My room was big, comfortable and always clean. There is also a good balcony where you can chill and work remotely - good wifi also. It is 7 minutes walking from the beach and restaurants. It is really good to be around girls, we could connect with each other and have a fun time. It’s a peaceful and chill hostel. I stayed 8 days in total but I could definitely stay longer!!! I really recommend it!

This is a great place for women to stay in Varkala. I truly felt relaxed here and met some great people from different parts of the world and different walks of life. Some of whom will remain friends for life. My solo trip turned out to be an amazing girls trip. Aparna is a great host who is adept at bringing the group together and the Munroe island trip and the kayaking trip are experiences I will remember for a long while. I loved the sound healing and yoga sessions too. I'll be back for sure in the near future.

I had the best time at the house of surf! First of all the place is amazingly beautiful and you feel comfortable the very second you arrive. Second of all the position couldn’t be better, very close to the beach. Furthermore, it’s an amazing chance to meet other women and to feel save as women travelling alone. Aparna and Ancy are extremely nice and support you a lot! Both of them are very inspiring women, same as the hostel itself! I definitely have to visit again :)
