I spent three days here recently and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. A huge thank you to the volunteers, Sharmi and Smitha, for their incredible support and friendly energy—they truly enhanced my stay. I also want to commend Sam, the manager, for his efficiency and helpfulness. While the mixed dorm was perfectly fine, I’d highly suggest solo female travelers opt for the female dormitory for that extra bit of comfort. I’d definitely recommend this place! Service: 5

Volunteered for 4 weeks at Cliff and Corals Hostel across Odayam Beach and North Cliff, Varkala, and it was a beautiful experience. The hostel has an amazing vibe community-driven, mindful, and perfectly balanced between work and slow living. Great food, surfing, yoga, café hopping, and meaningful conversations made every day special. A big thanks to Zai, John, Nandu, Ijas the entire team, and my fellow volunteer Rashmi for making this journey so memorable. Truly grateful to Volunteer Yatra and the Cliff and Corals group for this opportunity. Highly recommended for anyone looking to volunteer, connect, and experience Varkala beyond the usual.

Beautiful location !! Very close to the beach just a few minutes walk. Amazing sunsets Good place to work remotely if you need. Plus female dorm was very clean and comfortable. Both AC and fan working Highly recommended if you want a peaceful place to spend your time in Varkala away from the crowded streets of the north Cliff !! Service: 5
