I recently dined at Trattorias in Varkala, and my experience left me with mixed feelings. We chose the rooftop seating option, which provided a pleasant atmosphere and a nice view. One of the first things that stood out was the pricing. Trattorias is on the expensive side, which can be a concern for budget-conscious diners. However, we decided to give it a try. For our meal, we ordered the Lasagne with eggplant, mushroom, and capsicum, as well as a virgin pina colada. Unfortunately, the pina colada was a major letdown. It was essentially plain pineapple juice, which doesn't align with the authentic preparation of a pina colada. This was a significant disappointment, and it felt like a waste of money. On the other hand, the lasagne was a redeeming aspect of our dining experience. While it wasn't the absolute best I've ever had, it was certainly above average in taste and quality. The service at Trattorias was quick and efficient, which was a positive aspect of the experience. Additionally, they have a spacious seating area, which is great for accommodating larger groups.
