Hotel Deluxe – a must-visit for authentic Kerala-style food! This is probably one of the most authentic places for Kerala-style food. We were served a complimentary aam panna, which was perfect for beating the heat. We loved it so much that we ended up ordering some more! We tried their Veg Sadhya, served traditionally on a banana leaf. There was a great variety of dishes on the leaf, with generous portions that were more than enough for one person. For the non-veg, we tried one of their signature fish dishes, which was served wrapped in a banana leaf. Unwrapping it was an experience in itself, and the flavours were absolutely delicious! We also tried the prawn curry, appams, and parotta, and everything was really well done. Definitely recommend visiting Hotel Deluxe if you’re looking for authentic Kerala flavours and a traditional dining experience. Tip: If you’re visiting on a weekend for lunch, try to reach as early as possible to avoid a long waiting time.
