Gaylord located at Churchgate is one of the oldest restaurants of Bombay. This restaurant was opened in 1956 and is one of Mumbai’s esteemed pride and has been successfully growing ever since. They’ve still maintained the quality. This is a two-level restaurant which also has a separate bakery section where one can find the best quality bread and cakes. From the inside, it gives you the feeling of a European palace with the old fashioned chandeliers and paintings which gives a retro vintage feel. The staff is amiable and the service is quick. The food served is scrumptious and you can taste the authenticity of the dishes preserved with the time. The prices are a bit on the higher side. However, it is a very good place to have a good time with friends or family. You should definitely try the desserts here that are mouthwatering. If you are someone who wants to experience the Old Bombay aura and some authentic food, Gaylord is the right choice. .
