We had a wonderful experience dining at Cassava, Marriott. We chose the non-veg meals, which included a variety of vegetable curries accompanied by banana chips, sharkaravaratti, salt, pappadam, and fried chilli. The highlights were the unlimited fried chicken, butterly prawns, and grilled kingfish—the seafood was exceptionally fresh. Special appreciation to the staff, who were polite and attentive, always checking if we needed anything. To end the meal, we were served a delicious ada pradhaman as dessert, which was absolutely yum! This is an experience everyone should try with their family. This review is based on two visits over a week (2nd week of May 2025). The first was a la carte.. the ‘forbidden rice’ with fish was out of the world and so was the pazham mocktail. Based on this wonderful experience, the family had no hesitation in going back for a get together, this time for the ‘set menu’. On this menu, the beef curry was top class (the other dishes were very good too), and while we assumed that central kerala restos may need some fine tuning for biriyanis, we were proven wrong! The biriyani took the cake Every item was superb! Special thanks to Achu whose service we have to mention, and Fathima the ‘special’ person who ensured that her smile and her willingness to serve left a mark! Thanks to Kripa too! Kochi has many 5 star hotels with such beautiful ambiences and locales, but Cassava can beat those advantages hands down with their food and service! Top class dining (which includes the cutlery too ) You won’t be disappointed! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
