We were en route to the Surkanda Devi Temple when we decided to stop for lunch. Seeking something away from the typical tourist spots, we followed a recommendation for an offbeat café, keeping our expectations modest. It turned out to be the highlight of our trip. The standout was undoubtedly their Special Nettle Kebabs. From the very first bite, the flavors were incredible—perfectly seasoned and remarkably fresh. We ended up ordering seconds (and thirds!) because we simply couldn’t get enough. If you are looking for authentic, local Pahadi cuisine that truly captures the soul of the mountains, this place is a must-visit. The food was absolutely delicious. The guy who served was super kind and helpful in telling us what's really good from the menu. The place was cold but the food kept us warm.
