Café Ivy is located in Landour, one of the most beautiful and peaceful places to visit when you’re in Mussoorie. Landour instantly reminded me of Manali—it’s the only place in Mussoorie where you’ll find such tall, dense trees, fresh air, and a calm vibe. However, reaching Landour is quite challenging. Whether you go by four-wheeler or two-wheeler, the road is very narrow. It’s not steep like Jharipani Road, but still, you can’t drive in second gear; for almost 2–3 km, you have to stay in first gear. It genuinely feels like gravity is pulling the car backwards. Driving there was tough, and when we finally reached the Landour parking area, every vehicle had that burning smell from tyres and engines. Some cars were even releasing smoke from the engine—this tells you how demanding the climb is. From Char Dukan, you should start walking towards Lal Tibba, and halfway, before Landour Bakehouse, you’ll find Café Ivy. The walk itself is very scenic. Café Ivy is beautiful, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It gives the feeling of a cozy house converted into a café. We ordered Pizza, Cheesy Fries, Lime Soda, and Cappuccino—everything was delicious. The food, the ambience, and the peaceful surroundings make it a perfect place to relax. The road is a bit isolated, and you’ll find many monkeys around, so don’t carry food in your hands while walking. Overall, Café Ivy is a must-visit when in Landour. You can spend quality time here, enjoy great food, and click some beautiful pictures. Great experience ! Cozy, christmasy, very welcoming place with good food and better vibes. We sat on the sofas above and it felt like a hidden getaway in a european themed cafe with friends!
