Madurai Government Museum is a great attraction for tourists who come to eat at this restaurant after long walks. Indian cuisine is a must-order one at Chandran Mess. It's worth coming to this place because of nicely cooked chicken, seafood and fish.
Most visitors state that the staff is accommodating. Prompt service is something guests agree upon here. But sadly, Facebook users who have visited this spot rate it below average.

The experience was a rollercoaster ride. It had ups and it had downs!!

Let me start with the ups!! The food ?? It was a wowzza of the amazing of the foooood! We got Mutton Biryani! The mutton was PERFECTLY COOKED and the meat literally fell off the bone! ? Then we ordered meals which was decent! Nothing to complain there! Next came the mutton kola! To say this was the best kola I've ever had would be an understatement! TRUST ME! IF YOU DIDN'T TRY THEIR KOLA, YOU MISSED OUT! JUST GO AND EAT IT! Chicken 65 was okayish! It was boneless and well cooked!

These were the ups! Now I'll go to downs! Fasten your seatbelt! ? THE BIGGEST DOWN WAS THE PRICE! The goddamn price ? dei! They charged us like a star property! I guess 1 kola was around Rs.35, Biryani was Rs.190 the goddamn 65 was Rs.190 and oh god don't even get me started with Nandu omlette ? Mudila da dei ??
Next comes the service! The service is super fast! By fast I mean, REALLY FAST!! At a point where they are very fast it becomes intimidating! They also have no idea how to serve or give you some space to make food decisions! They just put the food on your plate and leave ?? Literally like our grandma but in a bad way ???

Overall, this is going to be my only experience at the place! I don't think I'll be going back there again ? but you must try them atleast once in your life! The place is literally a fast food cum mess. So plan accordingly!
