After seeing Madurai Government Museum, come for a meal. Clients may order tasty fried chicken, pepper chicken and fried prawns at this restaurant. Most guests indicate that the staff is energetic. Good service is something visitors like here. Prices at Chandran Mess - Tallakulam Madurai deserve attention as they're democratic. When you enter this place, you notice the exotic atmosphere. We went there based on a recommendation but came out feeling surprised and felt being ripped off money...they kept briyani off menu and did marketing of all side dishes, all priced very very high for the quality which any other restaurant can match in madurai. We realized it bit late when we saw the bill. Curry served along with rice had no meat, side dish quantity was 1/4 of a bowl, meals were below average. Please check their menu and price , enquire and only then plan to go there. Service: Dine in Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

After seeing many good reviews went with family, but very much disappointed. 1. Please ask each item and it's price 2. They suggest so many items but it's too costly and quantity is very less. 3. Taste is not great. 4. Ambiance of returant not great. 5. No parking is available. 6. One of the items served to me not in eatable condition. Chandran mess is known for its taste and hospitality, now it's not there. They have started looting money from customers. If you ask me I never recommend for any one.
