Not that great,, the food cost is too high ,chicken briyani which will cost you around Rs 220 you can get the same in Rs120 with better taste , meals are average , crab masala is for Rs 250 , if you charge more atleast you should keep the proper taste which we paid for .quantity is normal . Sumptuous non veg dishes, biryani and meals. Mutton kola (meat balls) are must try. Biryani and crab curry was just out of the world. Unprecedented customer service ever, staff were super kind, spot on with the recommendations on dishes to try and they were kind enough to give us sample of dishes that we didn't order to try it. Never miss an opportunity to visit Harish Mess. Must go in my every Madurai visit. Place is simple not fancy but homely food. Loved it.
