I visited this place with my friends for some evening chai. This place serves verity of the teas and this is attached to book store so great combination. Please do visit this place for amazing tea and long talk or reading. Overall it was good experience.

Why the one star? Well, if I could give negative stars I would. Not only did the manage to burn the coffee, quite an achievement, the burnt the milk as well. I didn’t know it was simultaneously possible. Hats off to there barista! But the trophy goes out to the orange peel “tea”. I have had orange peel tea many times. It’s usually black/green/oolong/white tea with orange peel mixed in it. And there’s definitely flavour. This, here, was a tisane. Hot water with orange tea with barely an orange taste. The minimum flavour you’d get by simply soaking some orange peel in hot water? They couldn’t even do THAT right. When asked the waitress, she was so confidently incorrect, it hurt my brain. “No, it’s not just orange peel, there’s tea in and i SPECIFICALLY TOLD you to let it brew for 5 minutes”, except, we didn’t approach her until about 15 minutes because a) we were so confused, and b) the staffs were just not available. And we were told “you don’t know what orange peel tea is like, this is how it looks and tastes”. Fair enough? Sure, if we said “this isn’t orange peel tea”. We asked questions, and she looked at us like we are these ignorant uneducated people who are sullying her upper class cafe. I’m no tea or coffee connoisseur, but I have got news for that cafe and its staffs, you guys don’t even know the basics of tea and coffee, so may be think twice before being condescending to your paying customers. Also, every single table had some complains or other. We weren’t the only one.
