After a long walk around Shibananda Dham, visit this cafe and have a rest here. If you have never come across Indian and Nepalese cuisines, you should reserve a table and try the menu at Café Kathmandu. That's a good idea to order perfectly cooked grilled chicken sandwiches, salami and momos. The chef at this place cooks good blueberry cheesecakes, ice cream and brownies. This place is known for delicious bitter or good cordial. This spot offers you great iced latte, ice tea or iced coffee.

It's easy to find this cafe due to the great location. Most guests point out that the staff is efficient. The fine service is a big benefit of Café Kathmandu. Café Kathmandu has become my first go to Café here in Kolkata. I visit the place since 2022 on a regular basis, it kind of feels like coming home, the owners know me by now, the hospitality and warmth of the Kathmandu is nowhere else found in the city. The food is freshly made, authentic and visually appealing. I do love the Nepalese dishes like the "Thaali" (see image). Another speciality are their brews with coffee beans from the hills, this combined with a cheesecake and the day is secured. The interior of the Café is cozy with a warm and "feeling home" atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and professional. All in all a wonderful location to hang out for coffee, lunch or dinner.
