Had lunch at Mandarin(old). The food starting from the soup, pepper chicken, manchurian chicken were loaded with salt and the chicken dishes were dry and stiff. Most probably pre-cooked and few days old. Chicken pieces were almost invisible in the asparagus soup, so were the prawns and chicken in mixed Cantonese noodles and rice. The table cover was dirty and stained. The restaurant ambience was not at all good. We frequent this restaurant quite often but every time I find the quality of both food and cleanliness is deteriorating. Hope the management takes care of this. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Mandarin Restaurant, Southern Avenue The ambience feels old and worn out, and the space is a bit cramped with a small upper-tier seating area. Food is average to good — nothing extraordinary or lip-smacking. Unfortunately, they don’t use Vetki fish — instead they serve Basa fish, which isn’t tasty at all.
