A century old legacy of Allen Kitchen sovabazar successfully carry forward with decades old heavenly taste of Prawn Cutlet, Mutton Cutlet and other items. Thanks to owner to make it available in south kolkata. Wish to visit again and again. I had one of the worst experience at Allen's kitchen, Hazra. Though the food was good the behavior towards customer was pathetic. The place has very small tables, with no sufficient space. My 4 year old niece broke a mojito glass, by mistake due to insufficient space, we apologised. We were thinking to pay for the loss as well. However when I asked for the bill which was 3k plus, ₹200 was charged for breaking the glass, I don't understand, how premium a glass was to be charged that amount? A glass like that would have cost ₹50,max ₹100 but charging a 100 bucks extra, you lost a customer. Imagine paying 3k there for food without thinking,I wouldn't have cared enough for the glass price, but to be asked to pay a price like that, which was added to bill directly is not acceptable.
