Although the hotel doesn’t have a luxurious appearance, it’s a great place to hang out with friends and family for lunch. The meals are excellent—flavorful and satisfying. The squid fry was well-prepared and tasty, though the Mathi fry didn’t quite meet expectations. Unfortunately, the payasam was already finished by the time we arrived, so we missed out on trying it. The place tends to be quite busy, so you might have to wait for a seat. However, the prices are reasonable, and meals are served traditionally on a banana leaf, which adds a nice touch to the dining experience. Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Food ok, but staff attitude disappointing. Visited Ambika Mess for lunch. The meals were decent, no issues with the food. But the behavior of the staff, especially the suppliers and cashier, was very rude. They acted like we came for a free meal. Items were not served properly, and when asked, they responded after unnecessary delays. When I politely mentioned this to the cashier, the reply was very disrespectful. Overall, a bad experience despite good food. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
