I visited this restaurant during food exploration in kozhikode. While the food was decent, I was disappointed to see that they charged extra 4 rs for just 2 pappadam for the kids. In my experience, most restaurants in Kozhikode do not have such additional charges, and this left a negative impression, especially considering the total bill was around 1500. As a customer, I didn't feel good about this aspect of the dining experience.

I ordered a squid fry from the sugar which near the kannankandy
I ordered on 26th November 2022 around 7.45 to 7.50 pm and they gave me a bill with a small slip in which it was printed a number 334 and asked me to pay the amount in cash counter where I paid and they didn't gave me my bill back , more over it took so long and the food was packed and given me at 8.15 pm and when I asked they said its squid that's why it take this much time . Come on guys it's squid deep fry how it will take more than 25 min , well finally when I got the food I asked for my bill , and they are saying there is no bill of you want go and ask to the cash counter they may give you , I ordered from parcel area and I received the bill from there and they asked me to pay for it and same time after half an hour I received the food from same place only but they said there is no bill.

The old sagar near kstrc bus stand is very good in service nd about their food, even the parcel area the staffs who are there are so nice and so pleased. I will never suggest any one to vist the new sugar
