Airy's Fast Food is an informal dining spot nestled in the neighborhood of Nongthymmai in Shillong. This restaurant offers both takeaway and dine-in options, providing flexibility for patrons who wish to enjoy their meals either on-site or at home. Families with children and groups are made welcome, as the environment is notably casual and suitable for kids.
While not extensively listed on major restaurant directories, it has a modest presence online due to user reviews highlighting its hygienic, tasty, and affordably priced food. Several users have expressed satisfaction with the portions and clearly do not mind returning for more. The service is often mentioned for being friendly and prompt.
Yet, it's noteworthy that most feedback available is not recent, reflecting a lack of up-to-date information from the owners. Airy's Fast Food maintains consistent operating hours from Monday to Saturday, opening from 11 AM to 10 PM, but there's no available information about its menu offerings beyond user comments. Prospective diners may benefit from visiting it to form their impression due to this limited digital footprint.
Chicken Chilli Gravy (6pc) - Rs.190/-. Veg Mushroom Fried Rice - Rs.100/- Airy's Fast Food, Jingkieng, Shillong Indo-Chinese, Fast Food $$ 23.01.24 On Saturday @iceshira sent me pics of his Pork Chow from Airy's Fast Food. Now this place is also on my "List of Places to Eat" & his message just made it more easier to decide where I'll have my lunch today. It''s a small little fast food joint but don't let the ambience fool you since this is very popular. Infact people were waiting in que while I was eating. Anyway the interior is simple with it's benched tables & stools to seat 10 people at one go & a very cute Wall painting of Po & his Panda brethren on one side of the wall & the painting of the Eiffel Tower on the opposite wall. Perhaps "Po in Paris" will be the next edition to the series. I had a look at the menu & it was Indo-Chinese. I was going to order the Pork Chow but then 2 consecutive days of noodles was just a bit too much for me. I ordered a plate of Veg Mushroom fried rice & Chicken Chilli. I asked for very less gravy. As I waited the que outside got longer. My food arrived but the place was so crammed that I didn't have the space to maneuver my fone properly to take photos or videos. My order had a huge portion of lightly fried veg fried rice with thinly sliced mushrooms. The rice wasn't oily nor did it have much of soyabean sauce. The quality of rice was also just ok. As for the chicken chilli, it had 6 pcs of chicken swimming along with pieces of capsicum, chillies, onions & spring onions in a very watery gravy. So it wasn't semi-gravy at all. Also the chicken was 1st fried then cooked in the gravy but without any batter. This made the meat very dry, surprisingly it wasn't stringy. Taste was ok. I should have just ordered the Pork Chow. Anyway I can clearly see why this place is so popular. Insta Id - kari.on.eats. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400
