So, the missus was deep in college mode, leaving me on kid duty. Solution? A fancy lunch at Wabi Sabi, a spot that apparently believes in finding beauty in the "imperfect." My wallet might agree with the "imperfect" part after this. It's tucked away next to the Polo Club and Lapis, all serenaded by one very busy singer. The restaurants are basically neighbors with different personalities – Wabi Sabi's is all sleek black, red, and dark wood. Very "elegant, but don't touch anything." The lazy Susan on our table was the real MVP, though. We went full culinary assault: Shroom Redemption (earthy!), Dragon Heart, Smokin' Salmon, Chicken Gyoza, fancy Edamame, Wabi Sabi Chilli Chicken, Ruby and Gold Pillows. Then came the Shrooms Ramen, a bowl of pure comfort. It was rich, deeply flavorful, and had this amazing earthy depth – like a warm, forest hug in a bowl, absolutely perfect for a Sunday afternoon. We also had Garlic Fried Rice. For dessert, a Cherry & Sparkling Wine Sorbet and Wasabi & Cointreau Gelato. Yes, you read that last one right. Most of it was genuinely good, especially the stuff that tasted like a forest floor (in a good way!). Service was polite, if a little hard to flag down on a Sunday – my arm muscles got a workout. The only real "wabi" moment? The ice cream. It looked like it had been through a fight with a scoop. Lacked the finesse of everything else.Final damage: over ₹13,000 for three. Ouch. But hey, the kids had a blast, so I guess the "imperfect" price tag was worth it for their "happy" smiles.

Dear Mr. Moghe, thank you so much for dining with us at Wabi Sabi and speaking to my colleague Rahul. Your appreciation of our food, ambiance and choice of culinary adventures truly make us happy. We sincerely apologise for the miss in prompt service. As reassured by Rahul, we will ensure this is taken up with the team. Look forward to many, more visits. Wabi Sabi is a culinary masterpiece! From the moment we stepped in, the ambience set the tone for a luxurious and cozy evening. The service was warm, prompt, and professional — making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our dinner.Every dish we ordered was an explosion of flavor and creativity. The Crunch Bang and Yin Yang Chicken were packed with punch, the Char Su Bao was juicy and delightful, and the Choco Mushroom was surprisingly addictive! The sushi (Crunch Bang) easily stole the spotlight — hands down our favorite of the night.Special shoutout to the cocktails — both the Buck Fizz and Guang were top-tier, refreshing and expertly balanced. And just when we thought it couldn't get better, the dessert was the cherry on top. We especially loved the touch of strawberry ice cream in it — and that’s coming from someone who’s never been a fan of strawberry flavor. But this one? Absolutely delicious and totally changed our minds!Wabi Sabi has earned a permanent place on our go-to list. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in exceptional food and drinks with a great vibe.
