Had an absolutely wonderful experience at Woods! From the moment we walked in, the ambience set the perfect mood—elegant, cozy, and thoughtfully done. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. The food truly stood out—everything we tried was exceptional. The dimsums were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, and the chilli paneer was easily one of the best I’ve had. Every dish felt carefully prepared and delicious. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for great food, great vibes, and a memorable dining experience! This is an open air forest themed restaurant inside le meredien. Have been to this restaurant thrice during my stays here over the last few years and it disappoints everytime. The cuisine is 'pan asian' which is short for anything goes. Their chicken gyozas were steamed not pan fried, with a thick inedible wrapper. The Thai chilli fish and prawns satay had the same spicy paste in which they were cooked - while nowhere near authentic it was delicious spicy in a very desi way. The simple vanilla ice cream they served had clearly been in the freezer a year too long and had a smell to it. All in all, a bad experience with no redemption except the wonderful ambience and weather. Go here if you are staying at the hotel and are bored with their other restaurant, else not recommended. Sushi in Mahabaleshwar. Dream come true. The Woods chicken is super crispy and tasty. The dimsums and sushi were awesome. Thank you Nitin for sorting us out over here. Truly a beautiful experience Highly recommend this place.
