Listed among non-vegetarian multi-cuisine restaurants on Nungambakkam High Road. Review: The Pinnacle presents itself as a reliable choice for tandoori and Indian non-veg dishes. The location is convenient and the menu broad. It’s less about luxe décor and more about getting hearty food. Best for: Groups who want to eat something Indian/non-veg, without fuss. Downside: The experience is more functional than glamorous—if you’re looking for ambience, might feel a little plain. Verdict: A dependable “go-to” rather than a “wow” restaurant — perfect for a casual night. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

This is not a review of the food, which was excellent I must say. However, I’m extremely disappointed with the service experience, particularly regarding the unlawful imposition of a service charge. There was a small, barely noticeable sign stating that a 7% service charge would be levied, but this was never communicated to us verbally before placing the order, which it absolutely should have been. When we politely requested for the charge to be removed citing the legal guideline that service charges are entirely voluntary and cannot be enforced the staff flatly refused. They insisted it was mandatory, which is a clear violation of consumer rights as per the guidelines issued by the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA). Forcing customers to pay service charge is considered an unfair trade practice under Indian law. To make matters worse, they refused to let us speak to the manager, which only added to the lack of accountability. I’m reaching out to understand what can be done in such a situation. This isn’t just about the amount, it’s about principle and consumer rights being dismissed outright. I hope appropriate action can be taken and guidance provided. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
