I recently dined at The Great Kabab Factory at Radisson Pune, and honestly, it was one of the most satisfying vegetarian meals I’ve had in a long time. The entire concept is built around a set-course experience, and I loved how they serve small portions of multiple kebabs one after the other — giving you a chance to try a little bit of everything without feeling overwhelmed. The Subz Galouti Kebab was the perfect start — melt-in-the-mouth texture, beautifully spiced, and paired with a soft little paratha, it really set the tone. The Sumac Paneer Tikka came next and was a total standout — the paneer was juicy, perfectly marinated, and had this lovely tang from the sumac that made it feel unique and different from the usual tandoori paneer. Peshwari Aloo and Makai Cheese Tikki followed — both flavorful, especially the tikki which was cheesy, crisp on the outside, and comfort food at its best. The Soya Chaap and Ananas Ki Chaat added a fun mix to the meal — the chaap was rich and smoky, and the pineapple chaat brought a fresh, spicy-sweet kick that acted almost like a palate cleanser before the mains. The main course had a classic North Indian vibe — rich, flavorful gravies like Paneer Afghani Kurma, Kadhai, Dal Tadka, Mushroom Roganjosh, and Subz Dum Biryani. Everything was well-balanced in spice and portioned just right. I loved that nothing felt too heavy despite the variety. And finally — dessert! The Rasmalai was my top pick. It was chilled, light, and delicately sweet — the perfect way to wrap up the meal. I also tasted the Gajar ka Halwa, Kesar Kulfi, and Bharwan Gulab Jamun — each one rich and indulgent in its own way. What truly elevated the experience for me, though, was the service. The staff was attentive, warm, and super accommodating. They made sure I was comfortable throughout and even customized spice levels on request. If you're in Pune and looking for a hearty, well-curated vegetarian (or non-veg!)
