Located in the iconic Freemasonry Building right opposite the Sterling Cinema, South Mumbai @thegooseandgridiron provides you a quirky escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The moment you step in, your world changes! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. If you wish to chill out against the historical backdrop of the Fort Street, sit back comfortably in their beautifully- lit patio. The air-conditioned interior features a terracotta brick wall, a fully stocked bar counter, and high tables to replicate the look and feel of an old English pub. From European Breakfasts to Indian Main course, from Continental appetizers to Oriental mains, they have a nicely curated menu serving vegetarian and non Vegetarian options for all. Coming to food, we started with a healthy Rocket & Pear Salad it's a fresh rocket leaves with pear in orange dressing topped with walnuts. Next was Pizza Di Milano which consists of thin based pizza topped with onion, bellpaper, cherry tomatoes & drizzled pesto and was amazing. Another dish was Spinach roulade, a Mexican dish with cheese stuffing inside rolled spinach leaves. Highly recommended. Whiskey Chocolate Pate, an perfect note to end such an amazing dinner. With a dash of whiskey, this dark chocolate ganache is both dense & sinful. Every bite is guaranteed to give you foodgasm.
