Neuma was one of those restaurants i actively convinced people to visit because my experiences in the past were lovely. However, my last visit, a couple of days ago may not have me return. My family and i went there for my father's birthday dinner on a Saturday. We were told their only non vegetarian soup on the menu was unavailable. When asked what the alternative was, they simply offered to add chicken to their vegetarian tomato soup. We refused and decided to move on. We then requested if they could give us plain rice along with the pork belly instead of the apple bacon slaw. We were offered coconut risotto (since it was on the menu), boiled rice was not possible. We opted for mash. The pork belly was chewy. It has been a standard order of ours in the past and always perfect.The bovine tongue tacos although delicious, could've been priced a little higher if necessary, and adding one more to make 4 tacos, would've made for a more filling dish. The steak was amazing! It was perfect. For dessert, we ordered the skillet cookie pie and were told they were out of vanilla ice cream and offered chocolate (or sorbet) instead. A restaurant like Neuma, on a Saturday (their busiest day of the week), did not have their ONLY non veg soup available (no alternative planned) and had run out of vanilla ice cream by 0930pm! I do hope that evening was an exception and not the (new) norm.

Great food , ambience and service.. 5/5 for that . But such a nice place keeps valet parking and charge ₹100 for that didn’t seem right..Also when I insisted on removing the service charge they removed and didn’t allow me to pay on Zomato with discounts.I argued then they allowed.. This is not a cheap restaurant that you crib for every penny
