A disappointing lunch experience at Thalassery Restaurant, Siruseri that fell short on both food quality and basic service expectations—especially concerning when dining with kids. What went wrong • ️ Poor service flow: Had to remind the staff 3 times about the meals order; food arrived 18 minutes late. • Service negligence: Requested extra rice after the first serving but never received it, even after 13 minutes. • Food quality issues: Chicken lollipop was overcooked and excessively spicy, despite clearly requesting less spice for kids. • No customer care: Staff showed no urgency, ownership, or apology. • Value miss: Spent ₹1,300 with zero satisfaction. Overall take. Average food, below-average service, and no customer empathy. The experience felt disorganized and inattentive—not worth the price or time, especially for a family meal. This restaurant is very close to our home,so we had the food here many times.Im sharing my favorite list 1. Chicken/veg Stew(white kurma),2.idiyappam 3.Egg roast(onion based kerala style recipe)4.Thalassery chicken briyani 5.Chicken fried rice 6.Tandoori chicken. The place is very neat and clean,you get foods from morning 8 a.m.to night 11p.m. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
