Ratings of Zeeshan Restaurant Apna Hyderabadi Food
The chicken ordered in starters and gravy was old and had bad smell and taste. Shredded chicken in the soup was also very bad Briyani was ok than other dishes Kindly avoid this resturant and try nearby Zaitoon or Nandhana for a friends or family meet Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani, Tandoori Chicken
The biriyani from them is always on point and so are the different starters that they offer. The ambience is a bit of a miss and car parking is difficult but bang on in terms of food and taste. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
Where: Zeeshan Restaurant Apna Hyderabadi Food, navallur
Planned to have our Friday dinner at our regular food truck since the truck was closed hence we ended up at zeeshan. This is not our first time though.
Food ordered: Gobi schezwan dry, chicken briyani, veg briyani, garlic naan, laccha paratta, paneer butter masala and lemon soda.
Gobi schezwan dry: definitely it was the star of all, we didn't expect such a good starter from a non veg specialist restaurant. It was super spicy and hot. With a good Hyderabadi touch of roasted green chillies. They added yellow bell pepper which gave a unique taste, crunchy texture to the dish.
Chicken briyani: One of the proper Hyderabadi briyani which I had. Cooked in dum style with aromatic spices. Chickens were tender and juicy. Briyani was served with a smooth Mirchi ka salan and raita. Mirchi ka salan was delicious.
Veg briyani: we had couple of vegetarian friends in our gang who ordered veg briyani. Briyani was made with paneer, mushrooms, beans and other veggies. Heard it was good.
Paneer butter masala:
It was rich and delicious, butter was literally floating on top. Went great with garlic naan and their fluffy laccha paratta.
We ordered fish fingers, initially they told that it would take around 15 mins we agreed later it was nearing half an hour finally we cancelled the dish. But I have tried once before I was great.
Note: this is not my first time to this restaurant, I have already been there twice before. I personally feel that they should maintain the consistency in their taste. Very First time it was super awesome, second time the experience was average, now for the third time the food was good.
I tried their double ka meeta and rabadi last time. It was below average. Double ka meeta was just bread tossed with sugar syrup no signs of ghee or other dry fruits, then the consistency of rabadi was just bit thicker than a usual milk. So we didn't take chance this time hence we ended with simple lemon soda ????
Final bill was 1274 for 5.
