That's a nice idea to order tasty fried chicken, roasted chicken and chicken biryani. Try good ice cream. You will be offered delicious liqueur.
Food delivery is a big benefit of this restaurant. Thaamboolam is recommended for the efficient staff. The cool service is something these restaurateurs care about. Prices at this place claim to be reasonable. You will certainly like the comfortable atmosphere and modern decor. But this spot hasn't got a high rating from Google users.

1-Star Review: I've been a regular customer here for a long time and have ordered multiple times without any issues — that's why this experience was so shocking and disappointing. Yesterday, I ordered my usual meal, but what arrived was clearly **burnt** — the food was charred, inedible, and tasted awful. I had no choice but to throw the entire thing in the dustbin because it wasn't fit to eat. I immediately called the restaurant to report the issue and request some resolution (even just an apology or replacement would have helped). They flat-out denied anything was wrong and refused to accept the complaint. No accountability at all. Later, I tried calling again — three times— and got no response. No callback, no message, nothing. They completely ignored me after I had already spent money with them. This is unacceptable, especially from a place I've supported regularly. I never expected to be served such poor quality food and then be dismissed when I politely raised a genuine issue. It feels like they expect customers to just eat whatever substandard thing they send and stay quiet. I will never order from here again. I've blacklisted this restaurant for good. To anyone thinking of ordering: please think twice. If something goes wrong with your order (and it can), don't expect any support or responsibility from their side — you'll just end up wasting your money and throwing food away like I did. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. Avoid this place until they actually care about their customers' experience. This version captures all your points: the burnt food, your regular status, the denial, no follow-up, multiple ignored calls, throwing it away, never ordering again, blacklisting, warning others, and the overall attitude of "eat whatever we give you.". Have been traveling Udupi with family and stayed at a hotel which is adjacent to Thaamboolam restaurant. Today evening we got late for dinner so rather than going to good known places we decided to have dinner at Thaamboolam as it was adjacent to our hotel. However, it turned out to be a regret of the whole Udupi trip. Ordered Paneer butter masala with Naan and butter roti as my Son wanted to have this and a Veg fried rice. The service was so worst that it took them 30 minutes to prepare the Order. But this was not the worst thing. When the dinner came the butter roti and Naan were cold like they have been prepared more than an hour ago. On asking they changed roti and Naan to hot ones. But now, we had a bigger surprise waiting. When we tasted the Paneer butter masala, it was smelling like it was prepared with the same curry that is used for making fish and mutton. My wife just refused to have more than a bite. It didn't taste good to me too although I am a non-vegetarian. Veg fried rice didn't had veggies in it. It was enough for our patience. We asked for the bill, paid it and walked out after having just one bite of the complete ordered meal and cursing ourselves of choosing this restaurant. Since we were tourist and out from Karnataka, fighting for a bill of 656 rs was neither sensible nor safe with family. We felt so bad that more than money, so much food got wasted. We then went to the same place where we had dinner previous night and had our dinner. We wanted to avoid inconvenience of going a far distance at night but sometimes to have convenience we invite inconvenience by not going through reviews of places. So, writing this review if someone might avoid the inconvenience by going to this place.
