We had a really bad experience at Narayanas Sea Shell and I wouldn’t recommend it. We reached at 8:50 PM and only got our food around 9:40 PM. The place was packed, the staff looked totally overwhelmed, and the overall management felt very poor. They made us order starters and main course together, saying there was a rush, and then served everything at once, which just spoiled the meal. The squid butter garlic, which they themselves suggested, had no salt at all. When we told them, the response was just a casual “Oh! okay”, no apology, no attempt to fix it. On top of that, it’s overpriced. For example, a small Disco that usually costs around ₹100 in smaller places and under ₹160 in bigger restaurants was ₹225 here, which really didn’t feel worth it. Overall, poor service, bad coordination, average food, and high prices, definitely not a place I’d go back to. Veey disappointed with the flavour and freshness. Wasn't expecting thjs quality in our Tulunadu. 1) Pomfret ghee roast - ghee roast's flavoir was sad, pomfret smelled bad. It wasn't fresh. Was difficult to eat honestly. 2) marwai sukkha - quantity was good. But flavour was not enjoyable. It's newly opened apparently. Hope they take care of the quality, flavour and freshness of seafood. I didn't order. Saw people ordering chicken dishes and it looked good. Hope it tasted good as well. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner

I reached the hotel with my children by 8.00 pm. The menu was given to me at 8.15 pm. I ordered freshlime soda, crab ghee roast, neer dosa, butter chicken, 1 butter kulcha and 2 plain roti. Lime soda was served at 8.45 pm. All other food items were served at 9.00 pm. The food was cold. It takes them an hour to serve and that too cold. The counter person didn't even bother. Worst customer service. They need training. Coming to the food. They say that they are specialists in sea food. Just hogwash. Places like Machli and Sai Fishland are miles ahead. If anyone is trying seafood, please avoid this place. I can give 2 out of 10 for food. Simply pathetic. I think the videos on YouTube regarding the hotel are paid. Any roadside dhaba offers much better seafood than this place. Better avoid.
