Tamarind Restaurant has been around in Kolkata for a very long time. Very good food. Friendly and efficient staff. Food is reasonably priced. We had a kabab platter, mutton stew, appam and mocktails. One of those rare restaurants where one gets mineral water priced at Rs 20/- per bottle!
