During lunch I went 3 times for south Indian meal but did not get it. Even restaurant manage didn't look like to serve the food According consumer requirements.

Tamarind Restaurant has been around in Kolkata for a very long time. Very good food. Friendly and efficient staff. Food is reasonably priced. We had a kabab platter, mutton stew, appam and mocktails. One of those rare restaurants where one gets mineral water priced at Rs 20/- per bottle!
