I recently visited Swadisht Bar & Kitchen in Mangalore with high expectations, but my experience was a mixed bag. The Chicken Manchow Soup was a highlight, with a rich and flavorful taste that warmed me up. The Chicken Biryani was also delicious, with tender chicken and perfectly cooked rice. However, the Chicken Drums of Heaven fell short, lacking the flavor and quality I've come to expect from Swadisht - a stark contrast to the Swadisht Multicuisine in Udupi, where the Drums of Heaven are exceptionally good. The Butter Naan was a letdown, with a rubbery texture that was unpleasant. Unfortunately, the Chicken Kolapuri was a major disappointment, with a taste that was far from good. The Mint Mojito was refreshing and well-made. Overall, Swadisht Bar & Kitchen has potential, but consistency is key to winning me over.
