Good hotel serving Quality Food. Tasty Food and Service was really wonderful. Especially a server named Priyanka thapa & Parveen, Polite, Calm, Respectful and Fast in response. If you want to have... Heard a lot of the famous Pallkhi restaurant in the past and decided to visit the place with my laws last night. We're vegetarians, so we ordered accordingly. Here's a couple of things we experienced-Good things to start with -1) The Pricing and the quantity of food served is decent.2) The ambience and interior decor as well as the cleanliness was also good.But, here's the other side of the story -1) The order time and waiting time for the food to arrive is very slow.2) There seems to be a shortage of - "Tomato Ketchup". The bottle was removed from our table 3 times while we were still eating starters and we had to ask them each time to bring it back.3) The mint chutney for starters is absolutely garbage. Can someone please teach the chef what that is?? Because I got buttermilk mixed with pani puri ka pani. That's what it tasted like and the waiter is arguing that that's what mint chutney is all about.4) The so called * Chef's Signature Dish* recommend by the person taking the order - "Baby Corn Butter Pepper" was really bad. It was a deep fried dish with bad quality oil and was absolutely disappointed with it.5) The waiter and the person taking the order appear to be confused and lost and dont understand well. Not very well trained, I assume.6) We requested that the Dal Khichdi we ordered must have garlic thadka. (Thadka means ogarne in Tulu Or Kannada) A few mins later, the manager comes and tells, we can't make that possible. Then they serve us with the dish with two extra spicy chilli thadka. Was it their way of telling us not to visit the restaurant again or maybe they didn't know the difference between "garlic and chilli".Either way, big thumbs down to this restaurant. I'm not someone who writes a lot of reviews had to put this one because of the terrible experience. My in laws took me there saying it's an " Old famous restaurant " And they were very disappointed too. Maybe this Old should just retire, if they can't level up or fix themselves.NEVER VISITING THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN.
