I was first introduced to this restaurant by my father nearly 5–7 years ago, and ever since, it has become a must-visit place for me every time I’m in the city. Over the years, it has remained my go-to place for the most satisfying and memorable food experiences. What sets this place apart is not just the consistency in taste and quality, but the distinct flavor they bring to every dish, especially their Butter Chicken and Palak Paneer. These two dishes have become my absolute favorites. One of the key reasons their food stands out is the use of khade masale (whole spices), which infuse the dishes with an authentic, aromatic depth that’s hard to find elsewhere. It’s this thoughtful use of traditional spices that gives their food a unique edge over other competitors. Adding to the charm of this place is the owner himself, who is incredibly sweet and welcoming. He serves every guest with genuine warmth and love, which adds a personal touch to the overall dining experience. Dining here feels like revisiting a cherished memory each time, and I look forward to many more delicious experiences in the years to come. Hidden gem in Amritsar, amazing food , the Amritsari fish was so good, the food was amazing too, anyone who is looking for great non veg food that is highly recommended by locals, please visit here, avoid visiting overrated places like makhan and charming, this was great. Amazing Amritsari food! As overseas visitors, we wanted a restaurant where we could sit and enjoy our meal. Surjit Food Plaza Restaurant was exactly that. It’s clean, has fantastic service and the quality of food is fantastic. It’s not to be missed! And be sure to try the mutton tikka. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
