So we stopped by Kanha Sweets this morning, one of those classic Amritsar breakfast joints that everyone talks about. We ordered their Poori Chole with a glass of Lassi, and honestly, it totally lived up to the hype! The chole had that perfect Amritsari spice kick, not too oily, just right, and the pooris were light, crispy, and fresh. The lassi was thick, creamy, and perfectly chilled a great combo with the spicy chole. Just a heads-up though, they start serving only after 8:45–9:00 AM, so if you land early like we did at 8:30, you’ll have to wait a bit. Each poori is ₹80, and the lassi is ₹90, a bit pricey, but the flavors and experience make up for it. If you’re exploring Amritsar for more than 4 days, this is definitely a must-try breakfast stop.
