As a Blue Tokai loyalist this outlet is a real shocker. After spending several hours here over the past 6 months I'm compelled to write this review not to complain but to hope that improvements are made. After trying out several BT cafes around Delhi in different capacity, this one takes the cake for one of the most under-trained staff for sure. Like a bunch of interns somehow making it work. It's not behavioural, the staff is actually courteous but basic stuff like maintaining clean tables, asking for the number when placing the order (for loyalty points), maintaining a clean restroom are pretty reasonable expectations and should be met. I'm not suggesting that things are off all the time but I've never experienced the same thing at any other outlet. Partial order is also a frequent problem if you place order on the app. Why is pasta on my table 5 minutes before the beverage? Coffee is usually fine, but espresso is grainy at times, likely due to improper technique or poor maintenance of a beautiful machine. When it comes to food, there's a lot of inconsistency where sometimes the food is even a bit stale. Sometimes the staff ends up serving cold croissant. Once the cheesecake was firm. I do not understand this part since there's probably a centralised kitchen, maybe the fridge temperature isn't maintained as I mostly visit this place towards the end of day. Which reminds me about the air conditioning. A coffee shop is supposed to be chilled to make people uncomfortable so they dont feel welcome for too long, but this outlet does it the other way. AC is on but its always a little hot and humid. I've seen people complain about the AC a lot of times but staff appears helpless and doesn't really acknowledge things. This is something I've observed in one more outlet. To wrap, I love blue tokai and this is an outlet that I have to visit frequently and I hope some action is taken soon. PS - They have an outdoor sitting where a bunch of cute dogs are also found chilling or sleeping, even on the chair. Big plus point on a cool day where you want to enjoy your coffee outdoors. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
