I’m a regular at Chelvies Coffee and usually visit their Connaught Place outlet, which I’ve always enjoyed. However, this was my first time at their GK outlet, and unfortunately, it was a distressing experience.I was seated at Table No. 8 when I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my leg. Upon checking, I discovered that three rusty nails were dangerously protruding from the underside of the table. One of them cut my knee, leaving blood stains on my trousers.This is a serious safety hazard. It’s unacceptable that such an oversight—exposed, rusty nails at a customer’s seating area—was even possible. When I reported the issue, the staff acknowledged it and said they would rectify it. They did provide basic first aid, but due to the rust, I had to take a tetanus shot.I genuinely enjoy Chelvies as a brand, but this incident was upsetting and has raised major concerns about safety and maintenance at this particular outlet.
