Okay so where do I even begin! 11 of us went to this place for celebrating someone’s farewell and ended up with stomach cramps and possible food poisoning. No idea why this place gets the hype, me and my colleagues went for the first time and thought it would live up to it. But, Boy were we WRONG!! The ambience sucks, the entire concept of the restaurant sucks with a menu that looks like a calendar with so many different cuisines and nothing absolutely NOTHING that appeals to the palate!! There were both vegetarians and non-vegetarians yesterday and both ended up with stomach cramps and an overall bad day which is still going on. We checked with each other and that’s how we realised it was last night’s dinner from Street 1522 that caused this. Almost everything we ordered was really bad either unnecessary ingredients that made it taste horrible or supremely overcooked shrimps like in the Tiger Prawn Thecha we ordered. Not a single bite was tasteful.Ambience was DEAD, no proper ventilation even the storm fan wasn’t working and it was not comfortable.Further to this, the staff had the AUDACITY to ask for a Rs. 1000 tip after such a bad experience. Staff also wasn’t that nice.Overall I would NEVER EVER recommend anyone to go to Street 1522. SHAME ON YOU GUYS FOR SUCH TERRIBLE FOOD AND EXPERIENCE!!!!
