Sri Saravana Bhavan is a humble joint booming in the glamorous lanes of Commercial Street. We ordered Idly-Vada –Sambar, Ghee Masala Dosa and Khara Bhaat. The Idly-Vada –Sambar was simply astonishing. The idlies were soft and very fresh. The Tomato Chutney accompanying the idly was too good. The Masala dosa was simply crispy with the munificent amount of ghee gone in its making. The Khara Bhaat was a little disappointing as it was nowhere near to the taste and quality of Idly, Vada and Dosa.
