This was my first time visiting Calicut and also my first time having Mandi here. We tried Soofi Mandi and overall, the food was good taste-wise it met expectations, and the service was also decent and polite. However, the experience was affected by poor water supply. After finishing our food, we had to wait around 5 minutes for water in the wash area, which was quite inconvenient. Because of this issue, the toilets were also dirty, which was disappointing. Good food and service, but the management really needs to improve water availability and washroom cleanliness to provide a better overall experience. Even asked one of the staff to call the MANAGER to talk about this issue, but he was not willing to meet us. Visited Soofi Mandi Calicut recently — the hospitality and ambience were really good, and the staff were polite and welcoming. However, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. I tried the mandi rice, peri peri alfahm, and shawaya. The rice lacked flavour, and the peri peri was just average, though the shawaya was slightly better.
