Zam Zam Restaurant, Calicut – The Biggest Flop Show in Town! Tried the Shawaya + Porotta combo and Mandi + Shawaya and wow what a disaster. The Mandi rice was so undercooked, even Indian Railways pantry food feels like 5-star dining compared to this. The “side dishes” (mayonnaise and tomato sauce) deserve a separate award for being the worst things ever served in the name of food. The gravy for porotta? Imagine mixing water and some random masala powder – that’s literally what they gave us. The Shawaya tasted like absolutely nothing. Zero spice, zero flavor, zero life. Even the valet parking felt like part of the punishment for dining here. This place is exactly like an over-hyped blockbuster before release – posters everywhere, people lining up, fans shouting. But once the curtains roll FLOP. Some folks still keep coming, maybe just because everyone else is going – not because it’s actually worth it. Save your money, save your taste buds, and save yourself from this tragedy of a “restaurant.”
