I recently visited Social Kitchen – Tastes of Udupi in Palakkad, and it was a really nice experience. The food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. We tried Mysore Masala Dosa, Podi Dosa, Noodles, Veg Fried Rice, and a few other items everything tasted fresh and delicious. If you enjoy South Indian flavours with a simple and clean dining vibe, this is a great place to visit. Social Kitchen, set beside the calm and picturesque pond, offers a refreshing dining experience with its charming ambience and friendly service. We visited recently and tried a mix of snacks and beverages, and the overall experience was truly satisfying. The vada pav stood out with its soft bun, flavourful potato filling, and perfectly balanced spices—simple yet delicious. The vada with chutney was another highlight; the vada was crispy on the outside and soft inside, paired beautifully with the fresh coconut chutney that added a comforting, homely touch. We also ordered Chole Nature, which had a rich, well-spiced gravy and tender chickpeas. It paired well with the snacks and added a hearty element to the meal. For beverages, the coffee was strong and aromatic, ideal for those who enjoy a bold flavour. The pineapple juice was refreshing, naturally sweet, and felt like the perfect drink to enjoy by the pond. What truly elevates Social Kitchen is the peaceful lakeside atmosphere, making it a great spot to unwind with good food. Extremely tastey food, Great ambience and Reasonable price... Only negetive I found is that table cleaning is a bit slow... Everything else is perfect...
