After seeing Janardhana Swami Temple, come for a meal. Here you will be offered perfectly cooked fish and tasty seafood. Most guests state that the staff is appealing. Shirley, Bijulal and their crew are as heartwarming as their food is. Quality local dishes prepared with love. The jeera rice is best ever! Believe me, I’ve tried many:). The prawns and Barakuda are delicious. They’re home stay clean and modern. A good place to stay and eat! Thanks for this excellent experience. Sun , Netherlands. Horrible restaurant, and horrible person. We ordered fish thali and curd rice, which costed us 500rs, after waiting for 1hour. The food was not even worth for 100rs. Fish fry was so terrible that no one could take a bite. I believe the fish had no name as it looked filthy and bitter. We had to throw every bit of food and my whole family including small kids starved without dinner, as in varkala restaurants are closed way too early. I wonder how such scamming people exist !

Food was ok. The place is not clean. Behaviour of the owner is rude. We asked for fish thali. Now generally in 90% of the places , fish thali will have fish curry , rice , roti, one additional curry and I guess that is it. There they served 4 veg dishes along with fish curry fish fry etc. the owner didn’t specify the portion or what thali will contain.. we couldn’t complete the entire food and didn’t want to waste as well. When we asked them to take it back, they didn’t although we didn’t touch the food as we didn’t want to waste it. She charged 800 rs which definitely not worth it but she was rude as well. We stayed calm . Will not recommend this place to anyone
