It is the greatest place near Janardhana Swami Temple. You will enjoy its food, particularly perfectly cooked fish, paneer and breakfast sandwiches. Visit this restaurant to taste good pancakes, ice cream and waffles. This place is famous for great cold coffee, mango smoothies or fruit smoothies.
There is a magnificent view from Cafe Sarwaa. The nice staff demonstrates a high level of quality at this place. Prompt service is something visitors like here. Cafe Sarwaa is too popular for its own good. I had a long wait to get a table, and despite immediately ordering coffee (with 2 waiters), it wasn't placed. So I ordered again with breakfasts as asked for it to come immediately. It didn't. I got my smoothie bowl first. The coffee was OK but very small. Much to my surprise the smoothie bowl is an actual drink in a bowl. Maybe this is my ignorance, but I expected more solids! I didn't find this a good way to consume these ingredients. The service is horrible. You cannot get staff attention. They are too busy, including shunting guests. People turn up and don't want to sit in the sun (at an outdoor cafe) so they're constantly moving the tables, crowding them closer together in the decreasing shaded parts of the terrace. Meanwhile your views while dining are usurped by annoying hoardes of tourists snapping endless selfies in front of you blocking the view you're paying for. It's all just very badly managed. The cost is only constituting the view (constantly interrupted). The menu is small really. I wasn't inspired by most dishes on offer. I wouldn't return. The food? Simply amazing! Their pancakes are phenomenal—fluffy, delicious, and a must-try for anyone visiting. The curries are packed with flavor, and their Kerala parotta is perfectly crispy yet soft inside. What truly makes this place special, though, is the people behind it. The entire team works incredibly hard, always welcoming guests with kindness and warmth. A special shoutout to Mannu—she’s truly wonderful, so humble and caring, always making sure every guest feels at home. The dedication of the staff is evident, and it’s heartwarming to see how much effort they put into creating such a great experience for visitors. If there’s ever an opportunity for them to receive even better recognition for their hard work, they truly deserve it. On top of that, Sarva Cafe isn’t just about great food and a beautiful atmosphere—they also give back to the community.
